Terms of Service
Last updated 20 July 2026
These terms govern your use of Snapline (the “Service”), available at snapline.tools and app.snapline.tools. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
1. What Snapline does
Snapline converts a known measurement between retail fixture (gondola) landmarks into another measurement, using published manufacturer dimensions, and draws a to-scale diagram of the result.
Snapline is a calculation aid, not a substitute for your own verification. Manufacturer dimensions vary by product line, revision and region, and fixtures in the field are not always what the plan says. You are responsible for confirming every measurement on site before building, and for meeting all applicable building codes, accessibility requirements (including ADA clear-width rules) and site-specific requirements. Accessibility callouts in the app are conveniences, not a compliance review, and can be switched off. Do not rely on Snapline as your only check.
2. Your account
- You must provide an accurate email address and keep your login secure.
- You’re responsible for activity under your account.
- One account per person. Don’t share logins.
- You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
- We’ll email you sign-in links and password resets when you ask for them. These are part of the Service, not marketing, so they can’t be unsubscribed from.
3. Plans, trials and billing
- Paid plans begin with a free trial. We collect a payment method at sign-up, but you are not charged until the trial ends.
- Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the plan renews automatically at the price shown when you signed up, monthly or annually, until cancelled.
- Prices may change for future billing periods. Existing subscribers keep the price they signed up at unless we tell them otherwise in advance.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details.
- Some accounts are granted complimentary access. We may end complimentary access at any time, in which case you’ll be asked to choose a paid plan to continue.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from Settings in the app — it’s one tap plus a confirmation, with no phone call, no retention process and no waiting on support. Cancelling stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. We don’t generally refund partial periods, but if something has gone wrong, get in touch and we’ll sort it out.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t:
- break the law with the Service, or use it to harm anyone;
- attempt to breach, overload or reverse-engineer the Service;
- resell or redistribute the Service or its underlying data as your own product;
- use automated means to extract the dimension database in bulk.
6. Availability
We aim to keep Snapline running but don’t promise uninterrupted availability. The Service may be unavailable for maintenance, or because a third party we depend on is down. We may change or discontinue features.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost time, rework, materials, or costs arising from fixtures built using measurements produced by the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Your content
The measurements and settings you enter remain yours. You grant us permission to store and process them to operate the Service. Diagrams you export or share are yours to use.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or where required by law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we’ll give reasonable notice by email or in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
11. Contact and governing law
